After four grueling days in humid conditions, Thailand’s Patty Tavatanakit won by just one shot at the 72nd hole, beating Switzerland’s Albane Valenzuela to take the winner’s trophy plus a handy US$255,000.
The Siam Country Club’s Old Course played its part in providing a real challenge and its iconic 18TH Par 5 hole added to the drama on the last day.
